FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES

Sometimes it is truly difficult to put into words the sentiments one experiences, and this was definitely one of those times.

Tuesday night March 13, 2007, Keren Beth Protea was proud to hold its Annual Fund Raising Evening. And what an evening it was! The crowd rocked to the rhythmic beats of a new and innovative musical performance combining the talents of Mayumana and David Broza.

With the wonderful support of the community, the Keren is able to continue the very necessary work it does to assist the many worthy citizens who depend on them.

Just looking around the theatre, bursting with 400 people – and so many new faces - was evidence of what incredible support they have.

Mayumana is the creative force behind unique theater brimming with rhythm and movement that has a language all of its own – and David Broza – an outstandingly gifted singer who performs and “role plays” his songs in his own magical and distinctive way, share a common bond – precision and the desire to express something that has not yet been told in conventional theater or in a rhythm and dance performance, or in any other type of musical concert.
